"Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity." As a career coach, I help college students and working professionals prepare for that moment when their hard work and preparation meets the right career opportunity. It sounds easy, but if you aren't in tune with your own strengths and motivators, these moments of opportunity can be hard to identify.
As a mental health counselor and career coach, I provide holistic career coaching to professionals at varying stages of their career - from the college student who has never worked a full-time job in his life - to the mid-level professional facing burn out asking, "Is this all there is?" Offering support and challenge, I help clients clarify their values and find work they love in today's rapidly changing global job market.
I have over ten years of experience as a career coach, including as an Assistant Director of Career Services at New York University and then as Director of Career Services at Boston University’s School of Hospitality.
I hold a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Idaho State University. I hold a Diploma in Executive Coaching and Certificate in Human Capital Management from New York University. I am also an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State of Utah.
I merge my knowledge of mental health and career planning to empower you in reaching your goals. I look forward to working with you!
